Notes on the box

Sorry that we had to send the potatoes in plastic bags. We were out of paper ones. They will store best if you move them into a paper bag and store in a cool, dark place.
The greens of the beets are edible and quite yummy! They sautee quickly and are great with scrambled eggs or with the sliced and sauteed beets.

Cosmic Wheel Creamery Cheese Shares.

This week I included Aquilla that was aged just 3 months and another wedge that was aged a year so that you can see how the flavor develops over time. I like this cheese for a grilled cheese sandwich with a slice of tomato.

If your box has the LAST BOX message on it and you feel that there’s an error (if you did schedule a hold and it didn’t go through) or any other mix-ups, please contact us! You do have the option of adding more deliveries! Go to your dashboard and click where it says “schedule more deliveries” and you have the option of getting boxes delivered for the remainder of the season. Let us know if you have any questions.

The farm crew worked the whole weekend so that we could go camping on Madeline Island last weekend. It was very amazing and we are so grateful to them! We realized that we hadn’t left the farm for an overnight trip since last year when we went to the same spot! It was a very good time and we are so grateful to the crew for putting in the extra time!
