Cosmic Wheel Creamery Cheese Shares.

Garlic Dill Quark and Lyra. Garlic Dill Quark is really great served with roasted potatoes. Or enjoyed on crackers or a veggie sandwich. This batch of Lyra was made this Spring and is so nice and creamy. It’s 3 months old. It makes a truly decadent grilled cheese sandwich especially if you include spinach or a slice of tomato.

If you have signed up for 16 weeks of delivery and haven’t used any of your holds, your last delivery will be September 17th. If you want to keep deliveries coming for another 4 weeks, you can send us an email and we can bump you up to a 20 week share. Veggies will include winter squash, potatoes, onions, greens, cauliflower and romanesco, and more!

Notes on the box.

Store tomatoes outside of the fridge unless you plan on cooking with them.
Remove tops from beets for best storage. Tops are edible.
Potatoes should be stored in a cool, dry place.

Notes on the box.

We had a few hot pepper plants that snuck in, so if you have a finger length pointed orange pepper, that is a spicy pepper! I don’t think too many made it into the boxes, but there was a little confusion about them during harvest. Otto discovered that they are spicy by biting into one thinking it was a mini lunchbox pepper.
Salads and leafy greens are back on the menu! This box has the makings of a nice Spinach and Roasted Beet Salad. Beet tops are edible.
Remove tops from the radishes for best storage.

Cosmic Wheel Creamery Cheese Shares.

Fresh curds! and Aquilla which is an aged jack style cheese. It’s a good melter for nachos or grilled cheese. You can make it special with sliced tomato and spinach. The curds are perfect snacking food and also good floated on top of a veggie chili or soup.
